Imagined in Ink
Welcome, dear reader, to this imagined space, My words take flight here and dreams find their place. My poems reflect unhindered thoughts, some stories unfold, voices get bold, turn soft as gossamer silk... and well, welcome!

About the Author
~ Sandhya Suri
Sandhya was the wife of Lord Surya, the Sun God, who lay in wait for her husband to come home to her. He had given her a diminished light, keeping the brightness to himself exuding power. He raged in his ego across the sky with roving eyes. That’s how he found Kunti, and Karan, his son, was born.
Sandhya waited until he returned home and came to her. She wept at his betrayal in colours deep, painting the sky every time he was almost at her door. When he opened it to enter her space, she chose to disappear into the forest, gathering the little light she had and transformed them into tiny points of light and eased herself into the fireflies. Nobody would look at the jugnu (fireflies) in the forest. Officially, she was still Sandhya, waiting for dawn to break when she would await the vagrant sun to leave her home and the fireflies burst into soft light that created for her a blank canvas once again.

Not really my story, but the story behind my name. It seems to fit in with a lot of my life. However, my stories that seep into my writings are for breath. I write, so I can breathe.
